Choosing a cap for your Klean Kanteen Classic is all about your style and lifestyle. Whatever you're looking for, however you need your cap to perform, Klean Kanteen have got the right one for you. And all Klean Kanteen caps are interchangeable between bottle sizes, so it's easy to change them out depending on what you're up to. Klean Kanteen caps and spouts are made with BPA-free polypropylene #5. If you want to go all stainless, choose the stainless steel flat cap or loop cap.
Klean Kanteen Classic: Sport Cap 2.0
The folk at Klean Kanteen spent almost two years developing the new Sport Cap 2.0 - a sport cap for stainless steel Klean Kanteen Classics that delivers some serious flow. In order to improve flow, this cap has an air vent. This vent is plugged with a small silicone plug. The plug helps to keep the water inside, but this cap is not completely leak proof as this valve can sometimes leak if the bottle is on its side or upside down. The cap now has a handy loop. And of course it's made from non-toxic, BPA-free polypropylene #5.
Squeaky cap? Try loosening it a bit, the more air that gets inside the quieter these caps are.
