Little Acorns to Mighty Oaks amber necklaces and bracelets are hand crafted from genuine Baltic amber. Baltic amber contains the highest concentration of Succinic acid - a known analgesic, making it the most esteemed variety of amber in the world. Amber is not a stone or mineral, but is a fossilized sap from prehistoric trees. As amber is organic the colours, shape and size of each bead is unique, and with each piece of jewllery being hand crafted by artists in Lithuania means no two pieces the same. All of the amber used for our jewellery is genuine, authentic, natural Baltic amber. We do not use artificial, plastic, synthetic, reconstituted or substitutes for amber. Amber necklaces and bracelets are made to wear but not to chew!

Children should be supervised while wearing the jewellery and the jewellery should be removed from the child's neck while they are sleeping. The jewellery is designed to be very durable and has a knot tied in between each bead. The string the beads are strung on is designed to stretch when a good amount of pressure is applied, and break if necessary. Every necklace uses a twist screw closure for safety.

Amber is a completely non-toxic substance. These necklaces should be used under adult supervision, and removed when your child is sleeping. For more information please see our Amber FAQ.
