A note on the paint - with day to day wear and tear the paint can scratch off these lids, especially if your lunchbot is being put in and out of your bag, rubbed against hard objects or if they are near sharp objects such as car keys and bag zippers. For best care of the paint on the lids we recommend you hand wash them, as the heat from the dishwasher may contribute to weakening of the paint finish. It is considered normal wear and tear for the paint to scratch off these lids - If you want a pretty lunch box, maybe this isn't the box for you, but if you want a box which is durable, and non-leaching the Lunchbot is definately your best bet!
