Dolls & Comforters

It is an important part of childhood for both boys and girls to have a companion. A comforter, doll or stuffed toy that a child can form a bond with, play with, and which will stimulate imagination, creativity and fantasy. To have a 'baby' to love, 'parent' and play with is an important part of a child's social development – it gives opportunity for role play and imitation of their own daily routines, allowing children to naturally develop language and social skills through their play. The bond that a child has with a special toy provides them with a deep sense of comfort and security and helps aid in emotional development and well being.
