The Safe Starter baby bottle breaks away from the plastic and glass baby bottle designs of the past. Kid Basix thought carefully about every feature while they were designing their baby bottle. The most important issue of all was safety. They have designed the Safe Starter to keep all contact between milk and plastic to a minimum, and they insist that all their plastic be certified free of BPA, phthalates and DEHA. Kid Basix pay for extensive independent laboratory testing on their baby bottles to make sure they are free of these chemicals. Lastly Kid Basix make the cap of the Safe Starter out of Polypropylene, #5 plastic. PP is the most stable of all plastics. The Body Made of clean food grade 304 Stainless Steel, The Safe Starter is the next natural step in the evolution of the baby bottle. No more worries about chemicals released from heated plastic bottles or the dangers posed by broken glass.
The Silicone Sleeve The silicone sleeve provides welcome insulating properties, keeping your baby's milk warm while being temperature neutral to the touch. Volume markers on the back side are in ounces and millilitres. Just heat The Safe Starter with the sleeve on as you would any baby bottle.
The Travel Cap The travel cap serves two important functions. It keeps the teat clean while you are travelling, and doubles up as a measuring cup.
The Silicone Teat The fully vented teat is made from pure, non-toxic silicone. Designed with the help of a lactation specialist, they are reinforced to help prevent collapsing.
The Storage Disc The Safe Starter bottle comes with a storage disc for safe and easy storage of milk directly in your bottle.
