Natural plant based egg-dye for coloring while cooking. Enough to stain 5 eggs per each color in one round. With every new round of staining, the color becomes paler. The final color may differ between the eggs due to the natural properties of the eggshell, can be use on brown or white egg

Ingredients: natural and identical to natural food pigments: curcumin, chlorophyllin, natural carmine (cochineal extract). Other ingredients: salt

Directions for use

In a small stainless steel saucepan (enamelled pots will be stained) - 750 ml of cold water - without vinegar - fill and stir the staining mixture.

5-7 raw, cleaned eggs - 3-5 days after the laying date - carefully place in the water with the dye mixture. The water level should completely cover the eggs and stand about 1 cm over it.

Bring the water to a boil. During heating, gently stir the powder color in the water until the dye is dispersed. The green color produces foam which is dispersed in the water by stirring.

When the water boils, boil the eggs for another 7-10 minutes. Plunge the eggs in cold water after dyeing.

The dyeing mixture can be reused, with further colourations the color intensity decreases.

The natural colors react differently to each egg, resulting in different shades of color. The color "matures" as it cools. On brown eggs, the color becomes more intense than on white eggs.

Once dyed the egg are still edible.
