Although we bull elephants usually live alone or with other bull elephants, we still feel like we are part of the Ostheimer elephant family. We elephants are very large, strong animals that can seem stolid. But we are actually quite fast and, above all, very skilled with our trunks. We are also known for our good memory.

Over 50 years ago Margarete Ostheimer began a collection of toys which today more than ever is justified and necessary. The collection was established fifty years ago as an alternative to a "plastic world" and is today a necessary counterweight to the "high tech world" of the playroom.
