We are so excited to share this limited edition collaboration between Sarah's Silks and illustrator Stephanie Green of Wilded Family.

Around the Year on the Farm Playsilks are 35" x 35", made from heavyweight, 100% pure mulberry silk.

Celebrate the seasonal changes on Earth as we travel around the sun! Children and adults will delight in the spring flowers and seed planting, summer bees, farmhouse and chickens, autumn harvest and cozy winter feeding the animals and playing in snow.

At Sarah's Silks they believe in the magic of creative play! Sarah's playsilks are made from natural fibers that stimulate a child’s imagination and capture the magical soul that lives in young children. Children love to dress up with these beautifully dyed cloths! With an inspiring palette of playsilks, children will spend many hours exploring their limitless imaginations.

Playsilks are so wonderfully open ended for use in play, that inspire children to use their imaginations and creativity in play.

Play silks can be used in any number of endless creative ways in play - with babies they are a stimulating tactile sensory experience and fun for playing peek-a-boo, for toddlers and older children they can be used as capes, skirts and head scarves to dress up, to make dens, as a blanket to wrap dolly or a picnic blanket for dolly tea parties, as play scapes in small world play combined with peg dolls, wooden animals and small toys. They look gorgeous blowing in the wind when tied to a stick and used as a flag and are wonderful for throwing up and catching as little ones develop their hand eye co-ordination and learn to catch, the way they move much slower than a ball as they float down gives a child more time to react creating a great sense of achievement as they are able to catch the scarf. They are also a staple for season/nature tables.

Hand wash, hang dry. We find children love to wash these themselves in a sink or bucket outside. The silk feels different when wet making it another amazing tactile sensory experience.
